As a stylist, Nicole’s career started 30 years ago; inspired by the industry at an early age, she knew this would be her life’s passion. Being a mentor to other artists & becoming a salon owner became a goal early on in her career. In 2004, Vanity Salon opened its doors. Nicole specializes in cutting, foilage & balayage color. A graduate of the cosmetology program in Belleville High School, her education continued throughout the years as an educator in California for Sebastian Professionnel, Global training with L’Oreal Professionnel, and continuing education on a daily basis. When Nicole is not enjoying making people look & feel their best, she is spending time with her two children and dog. Other passions are traveling, music, cooking & yoga.
Anthony has been co-owner of Vanity Salon in Montclair, New Jersey, since 2004. Entering the industry in 2000, Anthony has always prided himself not just on superlative customer service but also on using only the best products and color available at all times. Partnering with L’Oréal Professionnel has allowed Anthony some of the most amazing continual training and educational experiences the industry has to offer over the years, from multiple intense immersion Color, Highlighting, and Balayage trainings in Paris, the home of hair color, to haircutting expertise with companies like Vidal Sassoon, one-on-ones with the incomparable Tim Hartley & the likes of some of the most talented hairdressers & hair color companies from around the world. He humbly brings this 24-year-plus culmination of experience to his daily exposure to each and every one of his clients, new and career-long loyal, which is more than just an example of the relationships he builds while he creates.
Samantha has been a hairstylist for over 20 years, specializing in both color & cutting. She strives to create natural looking hair that is easy & manageable for her clients to upkeep. Her caring & loving connections with her clients have created not only beautiful hair but long lasting relationships with her clients. She has trained over the years with L’Oreal extensively in NYC & Paris. When she is not behind the chair she enjoys being with her family the most.
Andy has cultivated a career in the industry for over 25 years. Owning his own salon brought him much experience beyond the spectrum of just a stylist, wearing many hats from an educator to creative director. Andy specializes in “lived-in” color and precision hair cutting; as well as utilizing his skills for all hair textures, cultures, and genders, Andy began his career at 16 years old as a barber. As his career grew so did his knowledge and passion for cutting and color. He has educated countless salons and stylists with a variety of brands through the years. His hands on approach to learning shows in his clientele. Andy has opened his book to new clients for the first time in 5 years and is so excited for this journey!
Nick is a Master Stylist & Color Specialist with 20 years of experience, graduating from Artistic Academy. His passion is to enhance beauty & confidence through Color, Foilage, Highlights & Haircutting. Making people look & feel beautiful is his ultimate goal, reflecting his dedication to his craft; outside of work, Nick enjoys DIY projects, building his shoe collection & indulging in his love for the 80s & cars, along with his dogs.
Ali is a Design Stylist who has been part of the Vanity Family for 6 years & in the industry for 10 years. Starting as an assistant & working her way up to Stylist has been an amazing journey. She loves all things hair & especially making people feel beautiful. Her specialties include Balayage & Keratin Treatments.
Christine has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2019. She is a L’Oreal Professional color Ambassador; is educated under Travis Parker Academy cutting classes, and always looks forward in participating classes on latest trends taught by L’oreal Professional Educators at Vanity Salon. She loves building solid connections with her guests to help them express their personalities through their appearance and finds pure joy in helping others feel and look their best. Christine’s career being a stylist has been her favorite adventure so far. It is vital for her to stay updated on latest trends to give each client their desired look. Christine looks forward to the opportunity on helping you reach your hair goals.
Melissa has been in the industry for 28 years and enjoys taking on projects that most stylists won’t. She believes there is always a way to achieve the color you want slowly & steadily with our amazing treatments. She specializes in foiling, baby lights & getting that “perfect” blonde. She is constantly furthering her education by attending many classes in New York City.
Jackie has been doing hair for over 24 years. She specializes in hair extensions, special occasion styling, highlighting & keratins. She loves learning new techniques to achieve different results for her clients. Jackie is educated in GK Global Keratin, Bellami Professional Hair Extensions, and Wella Education in NYC & L’Oreal Professionnel. Not only does Jackie have a passion for hair, but it also makes her happy to see clients happy when they are in her chair.
” Z” is a Junior Stylist & recent graduate from Cosmetology School. As an up-and-coming hairstylist, Z is excited to finally showcase his skills in the salon. He is experienced in all things color, cutting & styling, and Keratin treatments. Outside of the salon, Z enjoys traveling whenever he can and spending time with friends. Z is looking forward to meeting new clients as he focuses & builds his career at Vanity!
